Chichester Litfest to Support Wounded Service Personnel

CHINDI, the Chichester based group of independent authors, held its first ever Chichester Litfest in support of the charity, Words for the Wounded on the weekend of 17th/18th October 2015.

The events, held over two days, were aimed at book lovers, starting with a literary lunch at Woodies Brasserie featuring.

Our guest speaker was Elizabeth Buchan, Sunday Times bestselling author of I Can’t Begin To Tell You.

The weekend continued with an authors’ party at the Park Tavern, Chichester, a lively event which included live music and a fund raising raffle.

Last but not least, we ended the event with a Book Swap Breakfast at Carluccios on Sunday, a chance to network and with plenty of book on display by the authors.

Together, we managed to raise just over £900 for ‘Words for the Wounded’. A huge thanks go to all the sponsors and management of Woodies, The Park Tavern and Carluccios who supported us. For more information about the charity, visit www.wordsforthewounded.co.uk.
