Earlier in April, we relaunched CHINDI with a new logo and website. To celebrate the relaunch, CHINDI authors have been leaving books around the area for readers to read for free. They carry the CHINDI sticker asking readers to leave the book for another reader once they’ve finished it.
Members donated around 50 books (worth around £300) which were left in various places around the county, the UK and some even further afield.
So where have our books ended up?
Here are some of the places you may have spotted them:
If you find a book, please photograph it and post to Facebook and/or Twitter using the #chindiauthors hashtag. There are kids books, romance novels, thrillers and even books on how to get your kids to sleep. Keep an eye out for the Chindi sticker on a book in your cafe, park or nearest bus shelter. We have been posting pictures of where the books have been left to give away clues on our Facebook page and Twitter account.
